Do you love monthly subscription boxes? I know I get excited when I find a package on my doorstep with goodies I have never tried before. I have tried many monthly subscription boxes containing so many different products but I never realized there was a monthly service you could get for Wine! Just recently I learned of Winc.
Winc is not your traditional wine club: they are a direct-distribution global wine company that personalizes the entire wine experience – They are perfecting how wine is made, distributed, perceived and purchased via their Palate Profile quiz that recommends wine based on your unique tastes and they add enjoyed on behalf of a new generation of wine drinkers. It takes the hassle and guesswork out of picking a bottle from your local liquor store and delivers the perfect bottle directly to your doorstep. They do all this as part of their quest to improve the experience for consumers, create a platform for artisanal winemaking, and build a grape-to-glass supply chain that’s sustainable for the planet. No more intimidating language and steep price points, and more joy in the act of sharing a bottle.
It was really easy to set up my account on their website. At first I took a small quiz that asked about different foods/drinks so they could get an idea of what sorts of tastes I like. After the quiz it came up with 4 different bottles that would be sent my way. Note: Under your account you can choose either white or red wine or both. I have always loved white wine so I chose all 4 of my bottles to be that way. A few days later I received package. It was packaged very well and all bottles made it without breaking.
On top of the package when I opened it up had a welcome booklet that I think is pretty neat. It says Clink, clink. Welcome to Winc. It has a nice jingle don’t you think? Below that, was my 4 bottles of wine that was chose based on my quiz and likes. I received Funk Zone White Blend, Diviner Sauvignon Blanc, Finke’s Widow Sparkling White Blend and Pacificano Chardonnay.
I’m currently enjoying the Funk Zone White Blend and think this subscription service is pretty neat. I drink wine on occasion so these bottles may last me awhile so if your like me they actually have that option to skip a month if you want.
