Body Worlds & The Cycle of Life is the current exhibit at The Leonardo, but only for a few more days! The exhibit’s last day here in Salt Lake City is March 8 2015!
This is such a cool exhibit and I was so excited that I got the chance to go (and yay for a date night!)The Mr and I loved the exhibit, it really makes you take a second look at your body and realize just how cool and amazing it is. The plastination process is really fascinating and it’s really kind of crazy to think about that there were real people!
One of my favorite parts was seeing the bodies in different poses or positions to highlight how our muscles and our bodies work when we are doing different activities. It really made me appreciate the body I have and gave me a push to take better care of it (like drinking less Diet Coke and making sure I workout often!)
This exhibit really is for everyone. I saw a school group on a field trip when we were at the Library right next to The Leonardo and my sister in law who is in the medical field was completely fascinated by it. We’ve even had readers and friends tell us about there little kids who thought it was really cool.
If you are wanting to go there is still time and you can still save on your tickets! Just use the code ARCHES and you can get your tickets for half off! Just remember you only have until March 8th!
